Should you use your wrist?
It is a riskier shot because you have less control, but it can add some real value as you get more advanced. Here's a great example of when it makes sense:
Whether or not you use your wrist, it is super important that you consistently stretching it. Like most of us, we get out in open play as quickly as we can and forget to stretch. The great thing about this one is that you can do it at home when it's raining or do it in the kitchen while your partner is making dinner or doing the dishes. Or for the couch potatoes you can do it while watching football, baseball... or even pickleball.
